Ansel Albrion

Ansel is a sadistic little merman in the gunner class, who is the leader of an underwater gang. They kill, steal, lie, cheat, all that stuff, making Ansel one of the more feared mermen in the sea. 

When Blaze and her party, accompanied by Mayama, along with her party, set sail in a large ship, they are attacked by Ansel and his gang, with the intention of doing simply what mermaids are known for doing. (Though I'm sure Ansel wanted to see what kind of loot they had, as well) 

Buuuut when Ansel attacked Marina, the archer, he ended up just falling in love with her, because insert cliche here. Due to the leader's distraction, the gang was defeated easily enough, and instead of fleeing with the rest of them, Ansel went all "screw all of you". He then went ahead and joined Blaze's party without even telling his fellow gang members, and proceeded not to leave Marina's side, despite that Marina does not have any feelings for him at all. 

Personality wise, Ansel is a show off. He's greedy, and doesn't concern himself with what anyone else thinks. He does and says what he wants, when he wants. Despite that, though, he does get along well with people. Or at least, he has decent people skills, and is a little charismatic.
